If you’re thinking about remodeling your kitchen and are a little overwhelmed, you’re not alone. Kitchen remodeling can be a daunting task. Hopefully, these questions and answers will give some insight in to how we can help make your kitchen remodeling project easier.

Can you help us with the design of our kitchen?

Yes. We design every kitchen around your needs and we take pride in making your new kitchen beautiful and functional. The owner, Tim Koehler, who is a Certified Kitchen Designer and has over 33 years of experience in kitchen design, personally reviews every design.

How much does a kitchen remodel cost?

Depending on the size of your kitchen and the remodeling design decisions you make, a kitchen remodeling project can vary widely. You can read more about what the average cost of a kitchen remodel costs here.

Do you have a showroom?

Yes. We have a new showroom located at 2701 Branchwood Dr. in Greensboro in the same building as our sister company, Re-Bath.[/spoiler]

How long does it take to remodel a kitchen?

Our proprietary systems allow us to remodel a kitchen much faster than most remodeling companies. We spend a great deal of time organizing and coordinating well before we ever start your job. Our typical kitchen remodel takes between 5 and 8 working days. See the detailed time frame below:

The time frame is for a typical installation with a standard layout—some kitchens could take a day or two longer. Galley kitchens can be installed in a shorter period of time because the countertops can be pre-ordered.

• Monday: Remove existing cabinets, electrical rough-in (if needed).  Layout base cabinets and begin installation.
• Tuesday: Install base cabinets and template for counter tops.
• Wednesday: Install wall cabinets.
• Thursday: Install trim and hardware.
• Friday: Complete any miscellaneous items.
• Monday: Install countertops.
• Tuesday: Install appliances—plumbing and electrical.
• Wednesday: Install tile backsplash.

Do you offer any payment plans?

We have many payment options for your new kitchen. You can pay with a check, credit card, or we can arrange a flexible payment plan to suit your needs. Some payment plans require no money down. Our Design Consultant has all the details. You can schedule a free design consultation and get an estimate at absolutely no charge. [/spoiler]

Does a building permit have to be pulled for a kitchen remodel?

By NC law, a building permit is required for any remodeling project over $15,000. We are North Carolina licensed General Contractor (License# 59212) and we pull a permit when required.

What kitchen remodeling services do you offer?

We furnish and install cabinets, counter tops, sinks and faucets, and backsplashes in many different styles, finishes and price ranges.[/spoiler]

What kitchen remodeling services don’t you offer?

We do not offer extensive layout changes—complete redesigns, removing walls, etc. We do not offer flooring and painting. We focus on what we do the fastest and most efficiently and at the best possible price.

Do you sell kitchen appliances?

We do not. You can buy your own appliances and save money. We will make sure your choice of appliances will fit the design and we will install your appliances.[/spoiler]

Do you do plumbing and electrical?

Yes. We use licensed plumbers and electricians to provide plumbing and electrical services that are needed for your new kitchen design.[/spoiler]

Do you offer tile backsplashes?

Yes. We have a large selection of tile in our showroom.
